Four river reaches and the source-labelled Lake Ambe restore 728 directly blue pixels from the original World Map 2025. The river route follows VOC's drawing. It is not a conventional georeferenced river reconstruction.
Only clearly depicted water pixels become water. Source lettering, obscured gaps, red settlement markers and green land remain untouched. Narrow diagonal strokes receive an interpolation correction within existing water texels so they render as connected water; this does not add water classifications to neighbouring land pixels.
Existing water, coasts, regional terrain and settlement data are retained. No new heights, buildings, materials or external geographical datasets. Water remains on the viewer's existing datum; river slopes, bathymetry, lake levels and flow are not measured. Native resolution and unresolved gaps remain visible when zooming.
